Guided meditations
My meditation journey started, as for many, during vipassana meditation ten days retreat in
2012 in tradition of S. N. Goenka. The retreat was a life changing experience for me.

One of the most difficult ones in my life and at the same time, one of the most enriching ones.
Facing my fears and going through many painful moments on both physical and mental
landscape brought me eventually to the place where I found a real inner peace and
contentment.
The retreat also helped me to integrate meditation in my life. In order to deepen my
practice I followed Meditation Teacher Training programme of Sarvaguna yoga school in
2019, in Goa. When the whole world turned to the online dimension due to the COVID
pandemic, I stopped teaching physical yoga classes and moved to zoom platform. Back
then, I have started offering guided meditations twice a week for friends and colleagues.
My meditations sessions
Duration: 30 minutes
What is the format of the sessions?
The session typically start with breathing exercises, continues with a body scan before we go
into the meditation. The breathing exercises (pranayama) prepare us for the meditation
itself and the purpose of body scan is conscious relaxation.
Do I need to be religious or spiritual to practice meditation?
I believe you do not have to be religious or spiritual to practice meditation. There are
numerous science-based arguments how these ancient practices work wonder on body and
mind.
